Argentina

Argentina is the 2nd largest country in South America after Brazil and is the 8th largest country in the world by land area. Argentina has the 5th highest GDP per capita within Latin America and is arguably the country with a huge upside for market size and levels of foreign direct investment. As the founding member to the United Nations, Argentina is one of the G-20 major economies. The reason the country of Argentina hasn’t been able to flourish is because of neighbouring countries such as Chile and Brazil which have overshadowed Argentina with their own success. The other reason is Argentina is a country known for being a volatile and crisis-prone country. However with a huge upside from neighbouring countries, it won’t be long before it emerges.

Goods Exported from Argentina

The main industries for Argentina are food processing, motor vehicles and auto parts, appliances and electronics, chemicals and petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, steel, aluminum, machinery, textiles, beverages, printing and furniture.  In reports for ‘Ease of Doing Business’, Argentina is ranked 113th in the world. The manufacturing is the largest sector in its nation’s economy at 19% of the current GDP with over half the nation’s industrial exports being agricultural in nature.
